GWO-MAL is a Polish powder coating facility manufacturer from Wieluń, designing and building complete powder coating plants for industry for over 30 years. We deliver investments on a turnkey basis – our company is the sole responsible partner at every stage: technology design, equipment production, transport, assembly, commissioning and staff training. We have completed hundreds of powder coating facilities for customers across Poland and Europe.

What is a modern powder coating facility?

A powder coating facility is a specialised production area used to apply powder coatings to metal components. A complete GWO-MAL powder coating facility is an integrated technological system covering all process stages:

  • Surface preparation zone: Chemical or mechanical metal cleaning (degreasing, phosphating, shot blasting) to ensure ideal coating adhesion.
  • Paint application zone: Powder booths with paint recovery system (cyclone + dust collector). Manual or automatic electrostatic guns (Nordson, Gema).
  • Polymerization zone: Curing ovens operating at 160–200°C. Electric, gas or oil-fired, with capacity matched to line throughput.
  • Transport zone: Automatic or manual part conveyance between zones – monorail, Power&Free or floor conveyors.

Why invest in your own powder coating facility?

Your own powder coating facility is an investment that pays back within a few years by eliminating external coating costs. Benefits of in-house powder coating:

  • Full quality control: On-demand coating, own colour formulations, guaranteed coating consistency.
  • Cost reduction: Elimination of subcontractor margin, shorter lead times, ability to service external customers.
  • Ecology: Powder coating is eco-friendly – no solvents, 99% paint recovery, zero VOC emissions.
  • Competitiveness: In-house powder coating enhances company reputation and opens new market segments.

FAQ – powder coating facilities

What are the minimum hall requirements for a powder coating facility?

A minimum basic powder coating facility requires approx. 80–120 m² of floor space with a height of approx. 4.5 m. Larger automatic lines need from 300 m² upward. Our technical department will carry out a free location analysis and adapt the design to the available building.

How quickly does a powder coating facility investment pay back?

Payback time depends on production volume and current outsourcing costs. With production of 20–50 parts per day, investment typically pays back within 2–4 years. At larger scale – even within 12–18 months.

Does GWO-MAL offer modernisation of existing powder coating facilities?

Yes. In addition to building new facilities, we carry out modernisations and expansions of existing powder coating plants. Replacing outdated equipment with modern GWO-MAL alternatives increases efficiency, reduces energy consumption and lowers service costs.
